Screenculture is a world of constant flux, of endless sound bites, quick cuts and half baked ideas. It is a flow of gossip tidbits, news headlines and floating first impressions. Notions do not stand alone but are massively interlinked to everything else. Prof Greenfield will speak about the effects of screen culture on our braindevelopment. What she calls the personalisation of our brain. We are born with almost all our brain cells. The connections between cells accounts for growth of brain and they reflect experiences.More info & register Greenfield 2006_def_2006.pdf

We invited Prof. Greenfield for the very reason that the new generation develops their own litteracy in relationship to the digital world and it is important to obtain insight what the effects are on this generation and what motivates them in order to know how to relate to them.(related subjects new literacy and Einstein generation)
