foto case 9-i-1.jpgLibre Expresión is an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) that aims to provide the Honduran community with complimentary education in the field of culture and expression through photography. The people of Libre Expresión initiate and carry out projects for children, young people, women or ethnic minorities who come from a background of extreme poverty or suffer from diseases such as HIV/AIDS. In each project, a select group is taught the basics of photography. Participants are provided with a camera of their own so they can photograph their lives and everything that touches them. The pictures are then shared and discussed in the group. Through these activities and discussions, the participants develop a sense of awareness and empowerment, and they are encouraged to express their emotions, feelings, dreams and needs.http://www.libreexpresion.org/newsandpublicity.html

The Master of Hospitality management organised a workshop Experience Economy at the Hotelschool The Hague. After working on the characteristics of experiences, and listening to a lecture students visited different areas in the Hague to test their fresh knowledge about the Experience Economy imperatives and design principles. The next day students presented their findings. Must be said, their level of understanding and their obeservational qualities were remarkable . They had a sharp nose for shops and restaurants that felt like experience places and shops and locations that did not have the XRP (Experience Rating Factor). Look at the presentations of the winning team and the runner-up.

Also look at the observational criteria that students received before hand. Team1 Denneweg FrederikstraatExperience Economy.pdf and Team 2 Molenstraat:Papestraat.pdf
