Serious request, fun(d) raising in optima forma

IMG_0359_2.jpgSerious request is an initiative to raise funds for a silent disaster on the planet. Three dj’s lock themselves up in a transparent house located on a square in a major city for 7 days without any food. They play music all day and night. The songs the play are on request of the public and being paid for.This year is the 6th edition dedicated to fight Malaria in Africa. Any donation is welcome, small and large. Apart from the music there is an auction on http://seriousrequest.3fm.nl/. The public is either on the street in front of the dj’s, or listen at home to the radio or watches on-line tv. The initiative stimulates all sort of communities to create ideas to make money for the fundraising. The impact on the Dutch public is amazing.
