Today we received the new book of Hans van der Loo, Jeroen Geelhoud and Salem Samhoud about how to awaken organisations, how to make them more energetic, and effective. With lots of pleasure we see that the Prenatal businesscase( Petra Brussen lectured at our networking meeting last year) has been used as an opening case of vitalising an organisation by a clear vision. The authors also used the competing values framework of Rober Quinn as a model for assesment of culture. The refreshing concept of a meaningful organisation is being introduced. As soon as we have read the book we will come with a complete review. Recommended!

I have been lecturing the 10th of May in Copenhagen for Short Cut, a conference for Huse i Danmark and the European Organisation of Cultural houses ENCC. I was pleasantly surprised by the receptiveness of the public and the enthusiasm about our approach to the experience economy. I spoke with Rolf Jensen(Dream Society) and we discussed the state of the experience economy in Denmark. We planned to organise a summit for the Experience Economy, where all pioneers in the field will share their ideas together of how we believe that Xp EC is developing. Also had an very inspiring discussion with Uffe Aelback who is now director of the World Outgames. We discussed a possible role of our Centre to evaluate the games. Also spoke with Bjarne Rasmussen ( Coordinator of Sustainable Zealand Region) and Soren Sorensen about developments in the field of tourism and experience economy. Jis Jensen teaches at the University of Roskilde (experience management) and we will explore ways together how to cooperate and share knowledge. The very good news is that Jorn Christansen, (Projektleder Innovation og Forskning Regional Udvikling
Region Midtjylland) participant in our executive course in Barcelona , succeeded in getting the funds together to raise a Centre for the Experience Economy in his region which will be founded in Aarhuus.

Don’t talk about it but do it. The door is opened by a touch of my fingerprint. Electronic touch screens on the wall, easy to discuss your website or log, or any other issues, lots of space, brighty modern colours, big tables to work on, a little corner to do the morning kick off (morning prayer). The toilet door is transparant, as you close the door it becomes intransparant for privacy and in the mirror you see the latest news and teletext. I was thrilled today being a guest at Freedomlab. Freedomlab works close together with EE and 2 Yellows provides us with this interactive website. If your are creative and innovative your office better be it too! Good example of an experience environment setting the culture.
