On e day we attended the lectures of Michael Jones Google Earth, Werner Vogel of Amazon, Alan Moore, Community dominate Brands, Susanne Piët on the Emocode and Mark Hansen on the progression of co creation concepts at Lego. We will report on all these sessions.

Maison van den Boer opened the 2nd of september a new concept delicatesse store in van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam. The idea was born in the executive course in Barcelona last year. Rob Wagemans of Concrete architects created the store.

Tom Bade (alumnus Executive Course) founded a new company on ecology, economy and experience, named Triple E. Tom is specialist in the capital of ecology. We will work intensively with him in the future. Tom wrote several publications like ‘The Green Money and the Gooise Matras’. Tom and Albert have taken the initiative to write a book about “The Experience of Nature and the Nature of Experience”.

The 7th and 8th of September ECEE organizes the first European Research Conference on Experience. The London Business School (London, United Kingdom), The Lapland Centre for Experience Industries (Rovaniemi, Finland), Kairos Future(Stockholm, Sweden), E-Cultura (Madrid, Spain), Co-Creations(Barcelona, Spain) will participate. We will report on the outcomes as soon as possible.

Thomas and Albert will visit Kairos Future in Stockholm, Sweden in August to meet the management team of Kairos Future and work on ways for future collaboration. Kairos Future is a Swedish research and consultancy firm that works in the field of understanding and shaping the future.

SMO and EE expressed the intention to do collaborative research on the price development of experience products and services.

We are in discussion with the Technical University of Eindhoven with Toine Schoutens (MD) of Solg(www.solg.nl) about the quality of light in the work environment and possible cooperation in research efforts. It is already empirically proven that 80% of our work environment is subject of bad lightning and therefore productivity of the workforce diminishes and the risk of making mistakes increases. The quality of life and work is an basic issue. Toine is engaged in a very interesting research project “The Living Office Lab”. He is looking for officespace where he can do research for four years with two comparable groups. Any ideas? Let us know…

EE is preparing interesting partnership with C-Factory of Mitra van Raalten. C stands for  Creation, Concepting, Connnecting.

Esther Binkhorst of Co-Creations will do research projects together with EE in Spain. She presented on the latest experience networkingday of the 14th of oktober her PhD research very succesfully.
